LIMITS OF PRACTICE
No psychotherapist/counselor may legally nor ethically work beyond the boundaries of her or his training. The following are issues that do not work with. I am, however, more than happy to provide references to those who do.

Child Therapy (0-14 years): While I have worked with children in the past, child therapy is a specialized skill. There are many wonderful child therapists in the area whom I would be happy to refer you to should your child need assistance.

Family Therapy: I work with individuals and couples with their family dynamics. Though I have worked with families, I do not currently practice family therapy. I will, however, coordinate with a family therapist who is working with a family system in order to see one member of the family individually.

Sex Offense Impulse/Sexual Addiction: While I have both education and experience in working with a variety of issues related to human sexuality, treatment of sexual addictions and sex offense impulses require additional training and experience that I do not have.

Something to ponder

The thought manifests as the word.
The word manifests as the deed.
The deed develops into habit.
Habit hardens into character.
So watch the thought and its ways with care
And let it spring out of love
Born out of concern for all beings.
As the shadow follows the body,
As we think so we become
